Veneers
Create a Winning Smile
When you look in the mirror, do you see a bright and beautifully aligned smile, or a dull one with chipped or uneven teeth? Whether you dislike the shape of one tooth, wish your smile had a more natural curve, or feel frustrated by badly worn-down teeth, Willsmere Dental can help.
We offer both porcelain and composite veneers to make your smile look brand new again. This affordable solution provides a “lift” for your teeth, giving you yet another reason to smile.
The Benefits of Getting Veneers
Veneers are a conservative approach to cover teeth imperfections and fill in the gaps. Benefits of this technique include:
- Very little, if any, of the tooth enamel is removed
- This natural-looking alternative is less expensive and more conservative than crowns
- Our porcelain options are strong and stain-resistant
- The procedure causes very little pain or discomfort
Going this route is both aesthetically pleasing and functional, since they protect your damaged teeth.
Porcelain Veneers
Our highest-quality option is porcelain veneers, whose superior finish is longer lasting. We carefully custom-design your new look to match your aesthetic objectives. That’s why the process takes a bit more time. We’ll start with a digital scan, then send the mockup to the lab to fabricate your smile solution.
While the porcelain option costs a bit more upfront, it’s cost-effective long-term, as these can last 10-15 years with proper care and maintenance.
Composite Veneers
You might choose composite veneers if you’re looking for a quick, inexpensive fix for teeth you don’t love anymore. This in-chair process can be done in one sitting, instantly giving you a transformed look. We’ll use a white filling material to give your teeth a nice shape, so you can walk out the door feeling new.
While composite veneers cost less than porcelain ones, they don’t last as long or give you the same amount of aesthetic control. We often use these as an emergency fix for chipped or broken teeth before connecting you with a long-term solution.
FAQs
What is the treatment process like?
We often take an impression of your teeth to shape a perfect fit, complete with the correct colour and shape. While your new “teeth” are being made, we may place temporary veneers inside your mouth.
Finally, we’ll cement the veneers in place. And voila! A new smile! A happy face!
How do I know if I’m a candidate?
